FramePoint Sourcing and the work this desk will do

FramePoint Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for business buyers who start with a brand search and need alternative modular or portable buildings quoted on one written scope. The desk does not claim authorized dealer status and does not operate a factory.

A sourcing path, not a company history

No founding year, plant capacity or client count is published because those records are not held for this service. The sequence below is the order of work on a brief.

01 Brief

Capture the project facts

The buyer writes use, module dimensions, loads, jurisdiction, quantity and destination. Unknowns stay labeled unknown. A brand name may sit in the note as the reference that started the search.

02 Match

Ask factories for the same brief

Alternative manufacturers receive the written scope. FramePoint Sourcing does not promise that any named factory will accept the work, and it does not present a shortlist as an audited panel.

03 Normalize

Line up scope before price

Each reply is marked included, excluded, optional or awaiting confirmation. Shell, delivered, installed and turnkey stay in separate columns. Freight and foundation design are not folded into a unit rate.

04 Hold

Leave the decision with the buyer

Open engineering, permitting and commercial questions get an owner on the buyer side. This desk can keep the question list. It does not stamp a drawing or sign the purchase order in the buyer place.

What the desk handles, and what it leaves alone

Reference, not identity

The searched brand stays a reference. Correspondence from this desk uses the FramePoint Sourcing name. A 12 ft by 40 ft module is not described as a 60 ft by 100 ft rigid frame.

Specification questions

Gaps in wind speed, a 30 psf ground snow load, seismic design category or a 1-hour fire-resistance rating are sent back as questions, not filled from a template.

Document requests

Drawings, calculations and plant quality statements are requested for the quoted system. Ask for the primary frame, purlin spacing and girt spacing. A certificate year matters only when the supplier attaches it to that system.

Budget as a preference

An optional USD range can be per module or for the whole order, for example 1 module or a 6-module group. It guides which replies to seek. It is not a promise that a factory will meet it.

Supplier preference

Premium, mid-range, budget-friendly or undecided describes the buyer trade-off among finish, customization and price. It is not a verified grade.

Limits of the role

Code compliance, structural adequacy and contract terms remain with the project professionals. The actual transport envelope and the foundation interface must be supplied or confirmed for the project. A sourcing note is not a permit.

Standard modules reduce comparison effort when the project fits published dimensions, such as a 12 ft by 40 ft box or a 14 ft by 60 ft box. A custom clear span of 50 ft, an unusual mate line or a local energy rule pushes the brief toward project-specific engineering. Hot-rolled steel and cold-formed steel are named separately. Both paths are legitimate. The buyer says which one the site can accept. See inquiry options or the form.

Start from the six-line index

If a line is unknown, write unknown. Factories can show assumptions. Hidden assumptions are what make two quotations look closer than they are.
